Completely off topic, but the above made me remember, the beginning of the new The Bravery song has the lyrics:
Something wicked this way comes
Makes me think of Derren everytime i hear it!!

So I was in the supermarket on Friday evening. Was walking past the pizza section, I look over, I see 'Nobacherie pizza'. I look away. I do a double take. 'Nobacherie pizza' - what the hell??? I look again. It says 'Margherita pizza'.
This is definitely getting to me now. Up until Friday I thought that I was still sane but oh no. The weird thing is it wasn't that I just said the word 'nobacherie' in my head when I mean 'margherita'. The pizza actually said 'nobacherie' on it. I swear it was written there. I saw the words before my eyes, like a hallucination.
"Hello my name is Laura and I'm a nobacheholic".

I bought three. I read "Nobacherie which is French for Chimpanzee" three different times. This is, in fact, bollocks. The word is completely fictional, and this is what altavista translator says...
Translate: Nobacherie
From: French
To: English
Translation: nobachery
Chimpanzee in French is chimpanzé. _________________

Andy, I suggest you go back a few pages and read all the posts.
Can't remember which page numbers address the issue of the programme, but otherwise you are likely to get some exasperated replies from people who have been posting on here from day 1. (Of which I am not one) |

I wonder if it's not french, but another language? Hmmm. I'm not bad at languages - let me have a think...
In Chinese: Shing Shing
In French/Portuguese: Chimpanzé
In Spanish: Chimpancé
In German: Schimpanse
In Italian: Scimpanzé
In Japanese: Chimpanjii
In Swedish: Schimpans
Ah. We're not getting anywhere, are we?
(Please feel free to correct me - I don't use the word 'Chimp' at the airport too much!) _________________

ok, so that may be a bit unrealistic. hehe. maybe he could just ask the regulars for a reason why it's still being discussed when the answer seems to appear in the tour programme? |

Actually, the correct pinyin is 'xing xing', or to be more exact, 'hei [black] xing xing'. |

Ta, CCC! (I thought it might be easier to read by writing the pronounciation instead of the pinyin... ) _________________

That's so funny!
I was trying really hard not to become obsessed with the dreaded word!
I am so obsessed now! Going insane, even bombarded Steve Wright today with text messages asking him to get Derren to reveal it's meaning today live on the show!
