Anyway, he'd been annoying his followers, with this strange magic word, 'nobacherie'. One day, his followers rise up and, just after he'd completed one of his ceremonies, they came together (in a manner of speaking), and demanded satisfaction.

All except Absinthegal, who demanded it twice.

I just realised something, (ignore this if he said he is going somewhere and i just havent bothered to read it) But Sir Big Dave seems to have disappeared - this leads me to muse on many possible abduction theories, pertaining to Mr Brown and the silencing of said Big Dave!!?!?!?!!?

Paranoid or scarily correct you decide!!??

Shocked

Well, I finally gave in and read the whole thread, and now I have a headache. I wasn't too bothered what it meant until about half way through, now I'm close to getting on my knees and begging.*pulls at hair*

Actually, once you know the answer and think about it, all the clues and stuff make sense.

Wink
So, has anyone on here actually worked it out for themselves? Or have you all taken the easy route and got someone to tell you?

Is this your doing, Alocin?

Ok, on behalf of Nicola (#444) I have to mention this strange thing. She threatened to let her hair grow out to it's normal colour if I didn't comply, so what could I do?

Nicola is a member of the official Derren Brown forum. "The crazy psychological illusionist guy". His new TV series started here this week in the UK, and apparantly there's a thing with his assistant, called Nobacherie. His name is being discussed on the forum (currently running at over 50 pages) and they're trying to 'spread the word'. So apparantly by me mention his name (that's Nobacherie again for a third time, incidentally) it'll help it become a hit on Google, "Since your stuff often turns up on that!", says Nicola.

To be honest, i'm a little confused myself, so perhaps you might like to read the forum thread here, to make more sense of it all.

Comments (25)

We should rebuild the Wikipedia entry for Nobacherie too.

Meme.

"Make more sense of it all"? That's a tad hopeful...

Okay We (me and Noodlemantra have now asked Derren himself TWICE what the meaning of that word i now refuse to use other than in actual conversations is and he has twice refused to tell us. Grrrrrrr. However Coops told us a meaning which i dont believe for a second but it has convinced me there really is is no One real meaning behind it.

If i wasnt so chuffed to have met Derren, and Coops and Dave of course i would be sooooooooo annoyed!!! Wink Very Happy Very Happy

Nope, but going to see him in Worthing on the 30th! Do you think his Eastbourne crowd will all be pensioners? They might have trouble getting up on the stage! Wink

He won't tell me, I'm sure! He knows I'm too intelligent to fall for one of his 'the answer is...' ploys! Very Happy
Besides, I'm thinking about using reverse psychology on Dave and Coops...

I am beginning to get the feeling this thread will go on so long that i will be recounting tales of it to my grandchildren (god help the person who is foolish enough to breed with me)

Therefore i think i am going to choose to believe my earlier thought that the word Nobacherie (it angers me to even have to write it) was a drunkenly made up word that just sounds weird and is therefore a perfect name for coops!! Also i think the reason Derren keeps telling people different answers is because there is no correct answer, to those of you who say you know the answer, i defy you to prove me wrong and tell me the answer

(see STC thats reverse psychology)

Meme - Yeah Geoff agreed to put it up for me, even though he said Nobacherie was his name and not his job title... Half the results on google have gone now, I was hoping it would reach double figures soon!

I think it will still be going strong for the grandchildren to see for themselves...
