I asked Derren after the show. He told me. On the condition that I wouldn't tell any of you.

Cruel little man.

Don't care. He'll die bald and lonely.

Ahh, but did he say you couldn't tell anyone at all? If not, you could tell someone who doesn't come here, then he or she could create a username and put people out of their misery.

Personally, I find this thread great fun, but trying to circumvent the conditions attached to Derren's disclosure is even better. Smile

Besides, are you sure that what he told you is true? Does it fit the clues given?

In fact it was me who said I wouldn't tell anybody. Anybody.

I agree. Now... I said I wouldn't tell anybody. Perhaps I could draw what the answer is? Or is that still telling?

I put it to you, Flying Nun, that you have told this forum nothing more than a tissue of lies.

You've let us down (you should have been getting ready to weasel right from the outset, Derren would respect you for it - maybe). No, you were only too keen to find out for yourself, leaving poor people like Spasm and WSM languishing in despair (well, sort of).

You sold your forum buddies down the river, for some quick gratification.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Wink

While one definition (courtesy of dictionary.reference.com) is 'To communicate by speech or writing', other definitions include 'To make known; reveal' and 'To notify; inform', so I suppose that's ruled out.

*Shakes head disapprovingly.*

And the French call it 'perfide Albion'. Pah!

Could I? Given the fact I was standing behind you during that explanation?
Wasn't entirely sure it was you until then.

Why didn't you say who you were? You stupid! What do you look like?

Edit. I think technically, you could. *throws 'you're the only one who knows' autograph in the bin*

Unless you promised not to tell, I don't see why not.

Nun, when he signed, perhaps you were the only person who knew (outside Derren's circle of chums, of course).

I think most people would have preferred to stay in the dark.

Quite literally.

Or you are the only person, excluding the lurking Icematrix, to know the explanation he gave to you. There's no guarantee that there is only one explanation in circulation.

Good point, Lolly. Perhaps it really is going to be like 'Call My Bluff' and Derren, Sir Big Dave and Coops will all have a different explanation.

Well, good afternoon, peeps!! Had a good April Fool's Day??? Well, you're not supposed to play tricks after noon, so THIS IS NOT A TRICK!!!

I was at the Salisbury City Hall last night. (Great, eh?)

After the show, I went (with half my entourage - the others couldn't stay) to the Stage Door and waited very patiently.

Whilst waiting I saw Coops and Sir Not-so-Big Dave and introduced myself as Maid Marion. Coops was absolutely charming (what a nice young man!) Sir Dave - I think he was stressed/tired/insert your own adjective here - not in the mood to chat. But no - they would not say what Nobacherie meant. "Ask Derren!" suggested Coops.

I didn't need to.

As the queue got smaller and smaller (and we were the last people there) I heard The Question being asked. My teenagers were beside themselves. We listened intently to the answer and heard the promise given that the truth would not be told on the Forum (I take it that was you, Nun?)

When it was our turn, egged on by The Teenagers, I confessed that I was MM from the Forum and initiater of the Thread. DVB seemed very amused and called over to Coops and SBD (who said "You haven't told her, have you?" - meanie!!)

So I can confirm that I DID learn the answer (finally!) last night, I too have promised not to divulge it on the Forum, and in the back of my programme (which I might add, was jolly good value at just £5 each and you must all buy at least 2 each Wink ) it reads:-

"To Maid Marion, who also knows the truth of the Nobacherie, love Derren Brown"

And so it is, ladies, gents and Monkies, my quest has ended and as a girl of my word,

I WILL NEVER TELL!!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Well, I think its dead mean of you all. Just because you've got to go to one of the shows and I haven't, you have to all gang up and brag about it.

I won't forget this...

We can be miserable and sulk together, Spaz. After all, I've still got a whole month to wait until I finally get to see the show..

Yeah, me too. Still, I'm writing the fanbook, so I'm jotting down all the names of the miserable gits who won't share to put in a special 'evil forumites' section...

Oh well. I suppose I'll just have to wait until the 10th and try and ask Derren then.
