OK peeps.

I have the tour programme after last night's show
It gives a definition of the word 'nobacherie'.

That definition is an obvious lie!

Attack SBD and Coops at your leisure - they are running so scared that Coops has lopped off his locks in an attempt to disguise himself!!!!

Is there some kind of secret conspiracy going on where everyone who knows either the correct answer or the answer given in the programme isn't going to say what it is?

Come on tell us what it says in the programme! Some of us aren't going to get one until May/never Smile

I bet it’s something like the reality phrase he used at the end of each show last year

“Nobody Actually Exists In Reality”

I don’t know Rolling Eyes have to wait until 19th April Confused

-is now thinking of making a t-shirt to wear to the gig that says "I couldn't care less about 'nobacherie'. Now tell me what it means before I kick you in the balls..."

Maybe that second bit should be on the back... Wink

Sorry to everyone for the delay, contrary to certain people's suggestion Rolling Eyes I was ensuring Spaz knew before any public announcement was made

The tour programme refers to Coops as Derren's nobacherie "which is French for chimpanzee".

Lies all lies. You wait until I get home tonight and wreak revenge, young Coops. Twisted Evil

...which is funnily enough what Draggy and I were toying with during a text conversation last week, when she said that the french for chimp was 'noba'! Our conversation had more to do with unicycles and impressing Harry Hill, though.

It's got to be boloney, though. The proper french for chimpanzee is 'chimpanzé'. And it's hardly a phrase, is it?

Must be some reference to his 'Chimps Ears' maybe.

Thanks, Hedge! Very Happy

Ta Hedge.

Maybe nobacherie is rhyming slang for chimpanzee?

Thanks for posting it Hedgehog.

I'm disappointed in the lack of effort, they could have come up with something vaguely related to the clues.

Well, if Coops was standing outside my office this morning, that'd make him
GORILLA IN THE MIST

(and that's a phrase!!!)

How would standing outside your office change him from a chimpanzee to a gorilla? More to the point, was it mere coincidence that SBD chose to use the phrase "Close, but no banana" many pages ago?

Never mind. I have a new theory.
We're told it's nothing to do with knobs, but (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't think they ever denied a connection with nobs. One definition of "nob" is "the human head". Since we've established that nobacherie = nobachers or nobacher (as Coopie = Coops), what we have is nob-acher - someone or something which causes headaches.
Therefore, nobacherie is a made-up word with no other real meaning, invented specifically for the purpose of inducing headaches in those poor souls foolish enough to attempt to discover its true meaning, and thus give DB, Coops and SBD a good laugh.

I know a good game, we could spend another 49 pages trying to fit SBD's and Coops' clues to the answer.

Hmmmm, 'Poor old Concorde, he flies no more.' = Explain.
Chimps are sometimes freighted by plane. Yerp, I see it all now.
