Well... If you're on the London Eye and you look over (from the direction of - see what I did? It's a twist) Buckingham Palace you'd see the Financial district of London and Liverpool Street Station. And the Bank of England in Threadneedle Street... Where Coops deposits the money left over after paying SBD's massive salary! Does he take care of and explain Financial Affairs to Derren 'cos he don't geddit?

Carbon in it's purest form - diamond in a ring? Could it be ring?
And the Champagne?

Is someone getting married?

Is it the explanation that Beckham gave to Victoria about his affair? Or what she explained it as?

And as such, it means the same as 'getting up to mischief' when used in a Coopsical sense?

If the 'carbon' clue's answer is 'diamond ring' or 'wedding ring' and the 'fave foreign friend' one is 'champagne', is nobacherie a word made up by Coops or Derren, inspired by the whole Beckham affair with all it's glitz, glamour and scandal, to describe Coops' glamourous job?

- Is Coops is a crap footballer. i.e. no Becks?
- He has no substitute?
- He’s not Posh?

Hippy?

Oh for pitys sake, now I'm getting involved.

Is it something to do with publicity or public affairs? Does nobacherie mean publicist or promoter, maybe? (thinking of Greeane's spelling!!)

Ooh, ooh, a boxer? (Thinking rabbit punches!) Is it pronounced no-BAY-cherie, and it's actually 'no way, dear' but said as if you've just been punched in the nose? Wink I'd imagine Dave would get a few of those when he tried to explain his little excursions!

-wildly flinging theories all over the place-

This damn thread is becoming like an itch I can't scratch. It's addictive, irritating and yet pleasurable in a masochistic way.

Argh! We're back to 'Buck House' again!!!

A burrower? Something to do with a burrow ...

Now SBD said something a bit back about a 'burro' (Spanish for donkey - or ass - but I guess not?)

Unless of course - he's talking about the ass .....

or simply a happy bunny ...
